Is your skin dehydrated?



Though the terms "dry" and "dehydrated" are often used interchangeably, they are not the same. Dehydrated skin, refers to the amount of water in the skin.

Healthy skin contains around 30% water, which is essential for maintaining the skin’s structure, strength, and resiliency. When the skin loses too much water, it becomes dehydrated.

健康的皮膚含有約30%的水,這對於維持皮膚的結構,強度和彈性至關重要。當皮膚失去太多水時,它會脫水。


The symptoms of dehydrated and dry skin are often similar and may include roughness or a loss of elasticity. However, while dry skin is a specific skin type, dehydrated skin can affect anyone—even those with naturally oily skin.

脫水和乾燥皮膚的症狀通常相似,可能包括粗糙或彈性喪失。但是,儘管皮膚乾燥是一種特定的皮膚類型,但脫水的皮膚會影響任何人,即使是天然油性皮膚的人。
